My Mission
Hi I'm Susan
Susan Turner, MEd, MA, LBSW, is a counselor, pre-licensed therapist, and speaker passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families find healing and resilience. With advanced training in trauma-informed care, Susan provides counseling that addresses life stressors, relationship challenges, racial identity, and the long-term effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES).
As a marriage and family counselor, Susan is especially committed to guiding couples toward deeper connection, healthier communication, and lasting restoration. She creates a safe, affirming environment where people can explore their stories, overcome barriers, and develop practical tools for growth.
In addition to her counseling practice, Susan is a sought-after public speaker who brings a unique cultural perspective to conversations about trauma and resilience. Her engaging workshops and keynotes equip communities, educators, and leaders with insight and strategies to better understand and support those impacted by childhood trauma.
At the heart of Susan’s work is a simple mission: to honor every person’s story, provide compassionate care, and help people move toward hope and transformation.
